Guide to choosing correct belt size

Guide to choosing correct belt size

Belts come is different sizes. A general guideline to buying the appropriate size is to choose one size higher than your waist size. For example, if your waist size is 32 opt for a size 34 belt.

Some additional tips while buying belts:

1) Always try on the belt in the trouser you intend to wear with it and no short cuts – try it on by putting it through the loops as you would normally wear it- it does make a difference to size chosen.

2) The belt must not be too long. After buckling, it should be able to pass through one additional loop- we don’t want a long tail of the belt hanging on the end.

3) Never wear weathered or cracked up belts as it destroys the look of the outfit and your image.

4) One last tip – If there is a loop in your dress/skirt/trouser- wear a belt as empty loops make the outfit look incomplete.
